The Week in Review (June 5th - June 11th)

We had an international, unexpected visitor in town for all of us that live in the DC and DMV areas this week: wildfire smoke from Canada. Due to the 400+ fires that were burning through 11 Canadian provinces and territories, we got hotboxed with the strange weather pattern that blew it down here in DC. Thankfully, the air quality was not as bad as New York City (NYC) (readers out there, did you see the photos coming out NYC? It was like Blade Runner 2049 or Mars out there!). This is just the beginning of the wildfire season as we get into the summer months. We do not know about all of you readers, however, we are going to get an air purifier and some more N-95 masks just in case. Prepare yourselves, summer is going be a wild ride!
