  2. Taiwan Relations Act At 45 Years and Counting Lecture (12PM - 2PM) (FREE!)

    • Description: The landmark Taiwan Relations Act (TRA) was signed into law by the United States Congress and serves as a foundation for US-Taiwan relations, and guides bilateral and broader policymaking toward the region. As the TRA celebrates 45 years, the Sigur Center for Asian Studies is holding a Roundtable to take stock.

    • Description: If you could choose only one memory to hold on to for eternity, what would it be? Thatā€™s the question at the heart of Hirokazu Kore-edaā€™s revelatory international breakthrough, a bittersweet fantasia in which the recently deceased find themselves in a limbo realm where they must select a single cherished moment from their life to be recreated on film for them to take into the next world.
